I Just Want to Remain.

I spent two good years
Talking to the ghost inside my head
And if I disappeared
Nobody would have cared if I were dead
Oh
But I found solace in the wildly spinning thoughts inside my brain
And I admit to everything I've done to cause you pain
And I don't want you to leave, no no
I just want you to stay
I don't want you to leave, no no
I just want to remain
I've tried to understand
All the twisting threads inside my soul
But I never planned
That you would be the thing to fill the hole, there
And I found solace in the flapping shutters of my broken eyes
And I admit, I've never been one to repeat a lie
So don't want you to leave, no no
I just want you to stay
I don't want you to leave, no no
I just want to remain
And I had days before
I knew I wanted something more than this
And you were the catalyst
For who I am today
So what can I say?
I don't want you to leave, no no
I just want you to stay
I don't want you to leave, no no
I just want to remain
